The reigning 4A state champs made their home debut a success Tuesday afternoon,
blanking Bonners Ferry 4-0 at beautiful new Great Northern Park in Sandpoint.

Junior Tanner Williams had a goal and two assists, and teamed with Anders Nostdahl and Daniel Anderson,
each of whom added a goal and assist of their own, to mount a persistent attack on the offensive end.

The Bulldogs ripped 18 shots on goal, including freshman Raleigh Hanson’s first varsity goal, which put the Bulldogs (1-0-1) up 1-0 in the 30th minute.

It was all fellow freshman Eric Wehse would need, as he saved eight shots to notch his first shutout in goal.

Here are some shots from last nights 27th Annual Festival At Sandpoint with Firefall and Poco.

This was the first night of many! We had some close lightning and it looked like we might not be
able to finish the night without getting rained on, but it never happened. The concert went on without any problems.

U.S. Alpine Championship

The U.S. Alpine Championships (Alyeska, Alaska 2009) are a right of passage for many young racers who are hungry to ski in front of the national coaching staff and at the highest level of domestic ski racing. The championships match the best U.S. Ski Team athletes with of aspiring American skiers looking to measure themselves against world-class racers as they aim for spots on the U.S. Ski Team.
